What kind of metal do you use?

All earring hooks are high quality sterling silver or 14k gold filled. Earring hoops and studs are made with stainless steel. Rings are made with antique silver or brass then coated with a thin layer of resin to protect against all skin sensitivities and allergies. This also helps prevent the ring band from tarnishing and ensures the highest level of durability and longevity.

Special note: We have very sensitive skin ourselves and want to make sure we are making the highest quality jewelry we can for ourselves and all of our amazing customers!

What size rings are available?

All of our botanical rings are adjustable. You simply push the ring band together to make it a smaller size or pull the band apart to make it larger. This makes our rings a great gift! It also helps if you like to switch the fingers you wear them on. Most our rings adjust from sizes 4 to 10.

How soon can I expect my jewelry?

All of our jewelry is made-to-order so please allow 5-7 days for us to complete your order. Items will be shipped out immediately once they are completed. We use standard USPS shipping and apply a flat rate of $6 to each order. Items typically take 2-5 business days to arrive depending on your location. Expedited UPS Rush shipping is available upon request for a rate of $12 and typically arrives in 1-2 business days.

What are your insects made of?

While all of our fruit jewelry, flower jewelry, and fern jewelry is 100% real, our insects are faux and cruelty-free. They are made using a special cotton-rag pearlized paper that shimmers in the sunlight.

Do you provide gift packaging?

All of our products are packaged in a gold box and wrapped in tissue paper. We place a business card and jewelry care card into each outgoing package.

How can I best take care of resin jewelry? How to clean resin jewelry?

We put jewelry care cards inside each order that have the following instructions:

Metals- Metals will inevitably tarnish over time. To help prevent moisture that creates tarnishing keep items in a jewelry box. Putting a Silica pack in your jewelry box can help keep all of your jewelry moisture-free, which will help to prevent your piece from tarnishing. If chains or charms begin to tarnish, you can get tarnish wipes or tarnish solution online that are perfect for cleaning your metal pieces. We recommend this brand.

Resin - Resin jewelry looks beautiful when worn in the sun and we encourage you to do so. To protect your jewelry, avoid storing it in direct sunlight for long periods of time in order to prevent yellowing. Be careful of sharp objects as resin can scratch. Be careful not to spray perfume directly on to your jewelry.

How to clean your jewelry - Resin is similar to glass. The best way to clean the resin surface is with a couple drops of water or glass cleaner and a microfiber cloth. It helps to handle jewelry by the edges or hooks instead of by the surface.

When traveling with your jewelry - If you can, wrap your jewelry in tissue or something similar and store in a small bag or pouch so it does not jostle around like it would in a large bag.

Is resin jewelry waterproof?

We recommend taking your jewelry off before showering or swimming. You can wash your hands with resin rings but make sure to dry thoroughly.

Do you take custom orders?

Yes! If you have a concept in mind or any questions regarding making changes to current products on the site, please feel free to reach out to us at wildbydesignco@yahoo.com. We will let you know if your request is something we can do. We do not charge extra for custom orders where we already have the supplies, but we do charge for any special supplies we have to order for your unique piece. We also do memorial jewelry with loved one’s ashes upon request. Please allow more time for customs than items already listed online.

All orders ship from sunny Portland, OR! All items are handmade to order and will ship out in 5-7 business days.
